Kevin Cole in Concert

World renowned pianist Kevin Cole will be performing a concert to benefit Ragged Edge Community Theatre on Saturday Oct 20th at 7 PM at the Harrodsburg Christian Church, 305 South Main St. in Harrodsburg. Cole was a student of Lawson Jones, husband of RECT founder Mary Chelf Jones and acted as Musical Director for several early RECT productions. Based in Chicago since 1994, Kevin tours extensively, performing with symphony orchestras all over the world and is considered by many the world's foremost interpreter of the music of George Gershwin. The concert commemorates the 100th birthday of RECT founder Mary Chef Jones. It also celebrates Cole's triumphant return to the stage, having made a complete and near-miraculous recovery from surgery to remove a golf ball sized tumor from his brain. The evening's program will cover 100 years of American stage and screen music.
