You're invited to an enchanting evening at the Kentucky Castle! Enjoy a Castle tour, followed by a seasonal dinner in our Grand Ballroom. MENU Appetizer: Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus. Salad: Seasonal Field Salad, heirloom carrot, candied walnut, fromage blanc, fuji apple vinaigrette. Entree': Savory Stuffed Pork Loin, seasonal vegetable, garlic, braised apple, fresh herbs. Chicken Marsala, wild mushroom, roasted chicken demi glace, marsala wine. Sides: Parmesan Whipped Potato, chive, garlic. Sauteed Haricot Vert, white wine, shallot. Assorted Desserts.

Irish Celebration with Dinner & Live Music from Liam's Fancy


Join us for an Irish Celebration at The Kentucky Castle, with live music from Liam's Fancy, Irish Dancing from McTeggart Irish Dancers, and a delicious meal prepared by our award-winning chef. The Castle exterior will be illuminated in green and the Grand Ballroom will be prepared for guests with social seating. 6PM: Dinner in the Ballroom. 7:30PM: Concert Performance in the Greenhouse. MENU. Appetizer: Shepards Pie Bouchee, carrots, peas, green beans, corn, onion, parmesan whip potatoes. Main Course: Corned Beef and Cabbage, local corned beef, napa cabbage, yellow onion, garlic. Irish Bangers, bell peppers, yellow onion, mushroom. Side Dishes: Red Potatoes Mashed, butter, garlic, chives. Sorghum Glazed Carrots, local sorghum, honey, toasted walnuts, parsley. "How to grow your own Gourmet Mushrooms" with Tim Hensley at The Kentucky Castle

Edible Wild Fungi & How to grow your own Gourmet Mushrooms with local mushroom farmer/forager Tim Hensley. 9AM-12PM: Tim will be sharing his experience as a professional mushroom forager, taking us on a virtual tour of the various fungi he regularly wildcrafts in the area. Along with fantastic tales of fungal abundance, he will include practical tips on how to safely identify a wide variety of the edible wild mushrooms that grow in our area. 12PM-1PM: Lunch provided in the Ballroom. 1PM-5PM: A hands-on workshop in the Greenhouse teaching how to cultivate a variety of edible mushrooms. Instruction on methods of inoculating, and several additional methods will be demonstrated. Each participant will take home an inoculated log to get his/her own mushroom garden started, as well as an information-packed catalog from Tim's favorite mushroom cultivation supplies company. Charlie McPherson has died leaving a legacy of $7.5 million to his heirs. But Detective Columbus arrives at the wake to inform the grieving family that someone had switched out Charlie's medication - causing him to have a massive heart attack! "Speak Easy" Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre

Experience a night at The Kentucky Castle with an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner. Guests who solve the mystery will compete to win a free night's stay at the Castle! "Speak Easy of Murder!". It's 1928 and Danny "Lucky" Campisano is hosting a Mardi Gras and masquerade party at his new speak easy, "Lucky's." He has ordered a special case of illegal gin for the occasion. Unfortunately the gin is poisoned and someone wants to spoil the party. Enjoy a buffet dinner in the Grand Ballroom prepared by our award-winning chef. THEMED MENU: Beignet, french choux pastry, powder sugar. Field Green Salad, artisan mix, feta cheese, kalamata olives, heirloom tomato, red onion, balsamic vinaigrette. Creole Andouille Jambalaya, tomato, long grain rice, okra, garlic, bell pepper. Cajun Blackened Chicken. Maque Choux, fresh corn, onion, celery, tomato. New Orleans Cornbread with Butter, onion, bell pepper, garlic. Mardi Gras King Cake, sweet dough, cinnamon, sugar, cream cheese icing.

Super Hero Training Day at The Kentucky Castle


Power Up for Super Hero Training Day in the Greenhouse at The Kentucky Castle! Wonder Woman and Spider-man will be leading an action-packed event. Guests can choose their Super Hero name and participate in a craft activity to make their own Super Hero mask. Followed with a Super Hero warm-up to prepare for the adventurous obstacle course ahead to save the day! A power snack will be provided with a good lesson about what it means to be a true hero. Wonder Woman and Spider-man will visit each table to talk with kids and be available for photos. Tickets for children and adults: $30 each. Children 2 and under are free. Boys and girls welcome.
