Authors at Ashland-Kentucky Haunts

Signing/Readings

The last author series of the year is spooky themed, featuring Daniel Meyer’s book, Kentucky Haunts. Instead of lunch, we’ll be providing finger food and light appetizers. Meyer’s book explores the history, legends, and ghosts of more than 40 ‘haunted’ Kentucky locations. Whether it’s a well-wishing specter at Mark’s Feed Store, the ghost bride of Cumberland Falls, or the danger at Child’s Branch Bridge, you’ll be off on this ghostly journey. Call Ashland at 859-266-8581 ext. 202 to make reservations. Space is limited. $15–members of Ashland $20–non-members

Adopt-a-Tree Fall Clean-Up Day

Benefit/Fundraiser, Community Event, Gardening

Join your neighbors and other friends of Ashland on Fall Clean-Up Day Saturday, November 18 to prepare the estate for winter - mulching, gathering, weeding and removing debris. This year, the City's Dept. of Environmental Quality & Public Works is providing gloves, tools, leaf bags and debris removal. This day also launches our Adopt-a-Tree program. Each year, a few trees need some extra TLC like limbing, crowning, and treating. Enjoy special treats at the Ginkgo Tree Cafe and discounts in the Museum Store.
